Caves of Drach: a place not to be missed
Situated on the eastern coast of Majorca, about five minutes by car from the hotel, the Caves of Drach are one of the island’s main tourist attractions. They are also one of the island's most outstanding features, as they are 1,200 metres long and 25 metres deep in the deepest part.
The cave was fitted out between 1922 and 1935 to make it suitable for visitors. A new entrance, paths and stairs were made. But especially noteworthy is the electrical lighting designed by the engineer Mr Buigas.
